Keren Nina Financial Assistance

“Keren Nina” Financial Assistance - This special fund, the first of Beit Natan's programs, was established to help ease the financial burden of those who are suffering from cancer and other debilitating illnesses.

When a serious illness strikes, so do a host of unexpected expenses. Many medical expenses are not covered by Israeli national health basket, and the stress of finding the funds to cover these additional expenses can be overwhelming for needy families. Sometimes, where the ill woman was the main breadwinner, her family may need assistance to help the family cope with the unexpected loss of a steady income, or to help cover non-medical expenses such as additional household help or transportation costs.

Keren Nina is named in memory of Mrs. Nina Nechama Leah Rappaport, A'H, an early supporter of Beit Natan who died of ovarian cancer after the birth of her sixth child.
